What: Science for Little Peeps—Featuring Peep and the Big Wide World. Peep activities are easy-to-do ideas that provide fun ways for you and your kids to learn simple science concepts. Each activity extends the science ideas of each Peep and the Big Wide World story.

Notes: Science for Little Peeps is inspired by the popular TV series "Peep and the Big Wide World," funded in part by the National Science Foundation, which appears on The Learning Channel and Discovery Kids networks.
Science for Little Peeps uses Exploring Structures, an actual hands-on activity from the show, to help children explore the following science concepts:
* How you design and build a structure helps determine how strong it will be.
* Different materials are useful for making different kinds of structures and different parts of structures.
* Walls, roofs, and bridges need to be supported in special ways.
Pre-registration is recommended as space will be limited. To pre-register call (919) 220-5429 x313. Ages 3-6.
